Vanilla Chia Pudding Recipe: Kid-Friendly and Super Easy to Make!

Chia seeds have ballooned in popularity in recent years, you can now find them at your local supermarket, in everything from granolas and cereals to yogurts and energy drinks, also health food shops to supermarkets, cafés and restaurant food. Want to enjoy them at home? Read on for everything you need to know about these energy-packed seeds.

Ch-ch-ch-chia Pudding is delicious, super healthy & kid-friendly!

Despite their small size, chia seeds are full of important nutrients. They are an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, rich in antioxidants, and they provide fiber, iron, and calcium.

Two tablespoons of chia seeds have almost 10 grams of fiber. That's around 40 percent of the recommended daily intake. Diets high in fiber have been linked to weight loss. According to research, eating 30 grams of fiber daily may help you lose as much weight as if you followed a more complicated diet.

Chia seeds contain more healthy omega-3 fats and fiber than flax or other grain seeds. They are also a good source of protein.. Some preliminary research indicates that chia seeds could—I stress the “could”—help people with diabetes control their blood sugar and protect their hearts.

Chia seeds are especially good for babies, as the seeds don’t need to be ground for the nutrients to be absorbed.  The coconut milk or Almond milk adds healthy fats good for brain development. Adding whole grains to your babies diet is super important, but always check with your doctor before incorporating anything new.

I’m frequently asked for the best way to eat these tiny, nutrient-packed seeds, which happen to be extremely versatile. They can be soaked in liquid to form puddings, sprinkled on salads, soups, porridge and smoothies or baked into a wide range of breads, cakes, muffins, biscuits and bars. I love them as a pudding, I love chia pudding! and my little girl loves it too. Here is my vanilla chia pudding.

Yay or nay? It’s definitely a yay for me. This quick & easy recipe only requires four ingredients. Get the recipe below for these two cups.
